The Event Description is intended to inform and attract people to the Event. If there is no description then attendance could be far lower than if the Event had an informative and attractive description.

It can sometimes be difficult to work out what would make a good description for an Event. In this situation, it can be helpful to discuss the event with someone else and make notes of anything useful, then base the description on the notes.

TIP: It is recommended to use a laptop or desktop computer when setting the Event description.  The software on a mobile phone mostly works correctly, but there have been a number of situations on a mobile phone where formatting has been lost and extra blank lines added

At all times remember that anyone in the world is able to see the Event you have set up.  It is right that we proclaim our Christianity, but please do this using language that is attractive to people of other or no faith.  Avoid any language that is disrespectful or might be offensive to others.  Also, avoid putting a person's name or contact details on an Event - this can normally be done by using the Sign-up feature within ChurchSuite.
